Is there a difference between a carbon fiber stick and a composite stick? If there is I'll agree with you, but if they are the came thing, what the heck did they steal ?

75-100$ will get you a decent composite stick. 100-200 is a great stick. I have never seen a 300$ stick.

I don't know. I looked it up, and the wiki page doesn't differentiate, but I know that my graphite one was not formed from a mesh material, and I vaguely remember CF ones being available at the time that at least appeared to have some mesh. This is kind of a long time ago though, so I could be remembering incorrectly.
